Love is in the Air

The Snippets Playground Challenge has a theme this fortnight of  'Love is in the air', as well as using snippets.  I decided to make an Anniversary card just using snippets.

I covered the front of the card blank with a piece of  red card.  I used an Xcut 'Heart Frames' set of dies for the decorative squares and layered them on a white mat.  I used a small white snippet with the Xcut die to just cut the heart, before embossing it with an Xcut 'Small Polka Hearts' embossing folder.  I inlaid the embossed heart into the red aperture.  The sentiment is raised up in foam pads.

These are the snippets I used, all plain red and white card as I have so many red and white snippets!!

I am joining in the following challenges:

  2. Wow - that die is so beautifully intricate, Liz and I love the embossed hearts in the centre. Such a gorgeous card that would be superb for Valentine's too.
    Hope you are well,
    Hugs

  5. This looks really pretty in red and white and using a super ornate heart frame die Liz and the dainty little dry embossed hearts on the white central heart coordinate beautifully, and the sentiment plate looks great raised up on foam pads. x
