We were having a break in our caravan last month, when I discovered a blogging friend had just celebrated their Diamond Wedding Anniversary. I wanted to make a card before we came home, so just used what I had available. I keep a basic craft kit in the caravan and take down a few extra papers, embossing folders and dies etc, in case of bad weather. I decided to make a Hexagonal Floating Card, a fold I've made quite a few times recently.
The patterned paper is from The Range and luckily there was a sheet of paper with hearts on. I used an Xcut 'Small Polka Hearts' embossing folder for the white panels. The stitched circles are Memory Box die cuts and I used number dies from The Works. A strip of acetate was attached to the middle front panel so the circles with the numbers can be attached to give the illusion they are floating.
I didn't have any 'Anniversary' stamps, but I had a Stampin' Up 'Painted Glass' set of stamps with an appropriate sentiment, so I stamped the sentiment with Versafine 'Onyx Black' and attached it to the inside back panel.
