January Rudolph Days Challenge

Well, it's still January and I've managed to make my first Christmas card of the year in time for Scrappymo!'s January Rudolph Days Challenge.

I started with a red card blank.  The aperture die is 'Large Circle Burst' by Memory Box. I love this die as it's so versatile and can be used for cards for all occasions.  I punched a snowflake and holly leaves out of snippets to decorate the card.

I would like to enter my card for the following challenges:

  1. Congrats on your first Christmas card of the year! I love that die, awesome card!

  2. It's nice to get an early start on your cards for next year. This is a great one. Love that Large Circle Burst die and the way you used it with the snowflake. It made a super Christmas card.

  3. Love that die and your card is so pretty. The little holly springs in the corners are great.

  4. This is so pretty Liz! I love that die with those holly sprigs on the corners!

  5. Stunning card Liz! I do love that die as well - note to self, ought to play with it more often!

    Di xx

  6. A beautiful crisp, clean and elegant card Liz and the perfect Christmas colours. I love tbe way you have used the red behind that wonderful starburst and then placed that sweet snowflake in the middle and then the holly in each of the corners draws the eye inwards. x

  7. What a great take on that starburst. I agree with Di...I need to get that die out more often!
    Great card, Liz!

Thank you for taking part in my first Rudolph Days challenge of 2015.

  8. Great Christmas card Liz, ought to play with mine more often.

  9. I love this circle burst die and you have made a beautiful card with it. It looks wonderfully christmassy with the holly corners and red card.

  10. A stunning design. Love the rich red of the card stock. Hugs Mrs A.

  11. Love the bold red and white colors! The Circle Burst die is perfect for framing the snowflake!!! The little holly embellishments are sweet and the ideal finishing touch.

  12. Neat card! What a great use of that die. I had a similar circle punch that I just never knew what to do with (and such don't have it anymore). NOW I get it.
