Musical Fairy

I have a new follower to introduce today - Karen Hasheck of 'Karen's Kreative Cards'.   Please visit her blog to see all her beautiful creations.

The Lavinia Stamps Challenge this month is 'Anything Goes'.  This is 'Sky', one of the latest Lavinia stamps I've added to my ever-growing collection.
I started with a 7" card blank and embossed the front of the card with a Creative Expressions 'Checkboard' embossing folder.  The background was made with Adirondack inks and Ink Dusters.  I used a Versafine black inkpad for the Lavinia  stamped images and added some sparkle to the wings with a Wink of Stella clear glitter brush. I made a pattern of blue and green pearls around the black scalloped circle, to match the colours of the background and added little punched leaves in the corners.

I would like to enter my card for the following challenges:

  1. Gorgeous card Liz. Lavinia indeed has some beautiful stamps. I visited your new follower too. Nice cards overthere. Have a wonderful weekend, hugs Veerle xxx

  2. Not only is the image beautiful, but so is your card! I love the background you created on this. Very pretty image and the pearls just added the right touch to the card. So very lovely.

  3. Beautiful image Liz, love the embossed back ground and pearls.

  4. Hi, thanks for your nice comment on my blog. Your card is beautiful, and it makes me wish for spring.

The card in the post below is amazing; it must have taken a long time to trim and adhere all those butterflies! Great work.

  5. Great stamp to use, love the background you've given them too. Many thanks for joining the Lavinia Stamps challenge and good luck!!! Melissa (DT)

  6. Fabulous little scene, the image is super sitting there with those lovely blue hills in the background.

    Have a wonderful day!

    Warm hugs

  7. What a pretty embossed background. It pairs real nicely with your fairy image.
