Welcome to my latest follower, Shaz. Please visit her blog Calligraphy Cards - Shaz in Oz for lots of inspiration.
Unlike my DH, I'm never likely to run a marathon! Instead, I'd rather be crafting and selling my cards to raise money for charity...... much more fun! So I've had a production line going this week, mass producing some extra cards to add to my stock. I've made over thirty more cards this week, including some like the ones HERE but in different colours.

Today's cards have butterflies on again.
As I've got a table at a craft fair on Saturday, the day before Mother's Day in the UK, I've made a few especially for Mums. This time I've used an X-cut embossing folder that I picked up in a sale a while ago. I've used gold metallic thread wound round a die cut circle shape. The SU punched butterfly is double layered to make the wings stand out
Here are some of the cards I made using different colours. Hopefully I will have lots of customers on Saturday and all the money I take will be added to the London Marathon sponsorship money Alan raises for the PSP Association (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy Association). All the coloured card used was snippets, so I'll be off to share my cards in the Playground.
I would like to enter my card for the following challenges:

ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous with all those butterflies and beautiful thread! Good luck with the sales!
ReplyDeleteSO pretty! Love what you have done with the thread. Thanks so much for playing along with us over at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge this week :)
ReplyDeleteI love this spirelli technique and have done it myself, but a while ago. It is really effective and so useful to have a die to cut the tooth shaped circle, and the thread is so pretty with the butterfly mounted in the middle which finishes it perfectly. I love all the different colours and how great to have made so many to sell. x
ReplyDeleteWow how many lovely and elegant card you made. The butterflies are fantastic and I love the corner in these cards.
ReplyDeleteThank you for playing at Bizzy Becs challenge.
