Denim and Dimension

The Butterfly Challenge this fortnight is 'Butterflies + D is for Dimension and/or Denim'.  My card is for a friend who loves butterflies and also a bit of sparkle.
Hope this colour counts as denim.  I used a Sue Wilson's 'Linen' embossing folder to make it look more like fabric and also to add some dimension.  I layered three Spellbinders 'Marvellous Squares' die cuts in cream and blue.  The Spellbinders 'Papillions Two' butterfly is attached just in the middle, so the wings stand up, adding more dimension.  Three clear gems for the body added some sparkle.

    This is perfect Liz. The colour is spot on. I have that die set too and it is one of my favourites to use. It looks lovely here on your card with the butterfly centre stage. Thank you for fluttering by my challenge where your card wil be entered twice. Hugs Mrs A.

    The dark denim is definitely that sort of colour and the pretty Marvellous Squares SB dies with that gorgeous butterfly in the middle looks so pretty and perfect for the challenge Liz, and love that linen look embossing in the background x
