The Less is More challange this week is a colour challenge, 'Colours of your Kitchen'. My kitchen has white units with pale green walls, so my first job was to find a piece of pale green card the right colour.
I used a recently purchased Tattered Lace 'Sheep Border' for the die cut. I resisted the tempted to buy this die for a long time, but when I saw it online for half price, it sort of fell into my basket! The sentiment came with a digi image from Digi Stamp Boutique. The embossing folder I used is Embossalicious 'Ornate Corner' and the background is layered on a white card blank.

That sheep die! <3 I love the little squiggles in their coats! Great idea to use embossing as a border, and how fab to match the card base to your kitchen walls. Very elegant!
ReplyDeleteYour card is so cute! I love sheep, so it really stands out for me :) I think I will have to hunt down that die for myself! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable! The pale shade of green works great with the sheepy border (this is a TL die I've not seen!). Love that embossed pattern on the side as well. On the Page tab, if you share your email, I can send instructions if you wish. It's very easy to do this. TFS & Hugs
ReplyDeleteA great card - I love the sheep die and can understand how it found its way into your basket!

Oh and thanks for your comment about Grillstock Festival. It was held at the Harbourside right by Millenium Square. They usually have two or three each year in different locations but Bristol was the only one this year. I'll try to remember to let you know if there's one next year x
ReplyDeleteThis is sooooo cute! I just love those little sheep and embossed corners!
ReplyDeleteI like all of this. Lovely colour and embossed corner with the cute, smiley sheep. I have a sheep stamp. It's time I got it out again.
ReplyDeleteGreat card. I'm loving all these sneaky peaks into people's homes too! Cara x
ReplyDeleteThose cute sheep look wonderful framed with that pretty embossing. I can see why they accidentally fell in to your basket Liz. x
