Looks like it's going to be another sunny day again today. As someone said the other day, why do the weathermen keep saying we are in the middle of a heatwave? We're not.....we're just in the middle of summer! 😎

The Crafty Calendar Challenge begins today, with the theme 'Totally Girly'.
My DT card uses a pre-coloured digi stamp from one of our sponsors, Pink Gem Designs. The image is called Cocktail Molly and can be found HERE. After layering the image with dark red card, it was attached to the card front. I trimmed off a centimetre or so from the right-hand side of the front of the card blank. Using the same red card, I punched a border using a Martha Stewart border punch and attached it to the inside edge of the front of the card. I put a thin strip of white card behind the holes so I could add white pearls down in the border.

ReplyDeleteAw, really cute - I've seen similar images using a younger woman but never one with an older one. If you feel like adding this one to a challenge, our current one at Sisterhood of the Snarky Stampers is "Over the hill" (and yes, digis are allowed, stamping isn't compulsory!)

ReplyDeleteAs for your comments about the 'heatwave'....I guess temperatures nearing 30 degrees day after day is just normal summer for central Spain - but it counts as a heatwave in Hertfordshire!
