The April Crafty Calendar Challenge begins today, with the theme 'Add a Butterfly'. Our generous sponsor this month is SheepSki Designs, who kindly gave the DT digi stamps to work with.
After making a twisted easel card for the first time recently I decided to make another for my DT card. I chose to use the Sheepski digistamp 'Poppies', which I coloured with Promarkers. The image was die cut with a MB 'Stitched Circle Layer' die and layered on a black MB 'Stitched Scalloped Circle' die cut. I added a black butterfly gem and drew a flight path with a fineliner pen. The patterned paper is from Stampin' Up and I used a Spellbinders 'Dainty Dots' embossing folder. The sentiment is computer generated. I sent this card to my daughter, who is self-isolating at her home with symptoms of the coronavirus. Thankfully, after feeling pretty rotten for most of this week, she is feeling much better.
The Crafty Calendar Challenge ends on April 28th. Please visit the challenge blog to see all the wonderful creations the DT have made.

The twisted easel is a great shape Liz and the poppies so bright and pretty.
