Green and White

A green and white card today.

The image is an old wood mounted stamp,  'Glasgow Butterfly' by Stampendous, coloured with Promarkers.  I die cut the image with a Memory Box 'Stitched Circle Layers' die and layered it on a Memory Box 'Stitched Scalloped Circle' die cut.  The layered image is raised up on foam tape. The sentiment is a stamped with a Stampin' Up 'Positive Thoughts' stamp and a metallic green ink pad.   I embossed the bottom of the card with a preloved Tattered Lace e/f.  As this is the first time I've used this embossing folder, I'll be sharing my card over in the NBUS challenge.  I added a strip of green ribbon across the middle of the card.

I am joining in the following challenges:

  1. Hi Liz! Thank you for the lovely comment on my blog! I missed a lot of your cards so I am admiring them now. You did a great job and you make great CAS cards (which I think, is hard to do!)

  7. I'm glad you pulled out an "oldie" stamp because it is a good one. The verse is very up lifting and will cheer someone up for sure. We need to give our older stamps love too. I forget about them when I get new ones.

  8. A lovely CAS card Liz, nice to see a card using green, people seem to shy away from green as a main colour scheme but this is lovely! Many thanks for joining us at We Love Chocolate Baroque xxxx
