I'm not sure what's going on with Blogger. I've just found 16 comments in my Spam, only two were genuine spam and the rest were from named craft bloggers, some had left comments on my blog before. Very strange!
Two similar cards to share today. Unfortunately the pink one never arrived, so it's probably in some dark corner of a Royal Mail building..... or perhaps it was delivered to the wrong address. One of life's mysteries! 😉
I used a mask to create the ground and all the stamps and the stencil are from Lavinia.
I am joining in the following challenges:
Lovely scenes Liz, Lavinia stamps are really sweet
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scenes in both the colours, the stencilled background looks so soft and effective!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for joining us at We Love Stamping!
LOVE these Liz...absolutely gorgeous xx
ReplyDeleteTwo very pretty Lavinia cards Liz - what a terrible shame that one went missing!! I have also noticed that I am suddenly getting quite a few comments from known bloggers going into spam, which rarely happened before ... but then I am also experiencing various other problems eg. can no longer comment on my ipad on any blog where comments are embedded- Blogger has gone really weird recently. Anyhoo ... Thanks so much for joining us this week at Allsorts challenge.
ReplyDeletePauline xx
hi Liz ... just left a comment and it disappeared!! Very strange as my comment talked about how blogger has gone really weird and I too am seeing a lot more spam and also having problems commenting on blogs where comments are embedded (whcih cinludes yours!). Love your 2 pretty Lavinia cards .. how annoying that one went missing! Thanks so much for joining us this week at Allsorts challenge.
ReplyDeletePauline xx
Two beauties Liz,the colourways are gorgeous, really annoying when mail doesn't reach the recipient
ReplyDeleteI have the same problem with Blogger, Liz. Your last message on my blog was not in email's spam, but it was not published on my blog. I read the message in my email and I could not find it on my post. Finally, I visited he comments of Blogger and your comment was marked as spam. I unmarked it, and it was published right away. Really strange.
ReplyDeleteBoth your cards are beautiful. It is a pity that the pink one seems to be lost. Let's hope that soon will be delivered to the recipient. Hugs, my friend.
Beautiful, lovely designs and those colours work well together... sadly some mail just never arrives to our mystery wonders xx
ReplyDeleteBlogger has definitely been having 'a moment' or two this last week and comment are one of them. Dialogue box's have change on some blogs yet not others and I rather suspect the missing comments are those on the new format where there's no notification if a comment has been save for moderation.
ReplyDeleteYou card are lovely in both colourways and The Wallis Family are a firm favourite with me, thanks so much for sharing at We Love Stamping May challenge and this weeks Allsorts challenge.

Just leaving another message as once I published my comment I realised your blog was one where there's no notification. I did read somewhere the other day it dependent on the templates used.

Beautiful cards Liz. What a shame one never reached its destination.
ReplyDeleteThanks for heads up about spam comments that aren’t spam at all. Just checked my own blog + Snippets Playground and there were a few genuine comments stuck in spam on both of them. Will keep an eye on this xxx
Two beautiful Lavinia scenes but what a shame that one of them became lost in the post. There seem to be a variety of strange things happening with Blogger at the moment and for no apparent reason but I guess they are maybe tinkering with things to 'improve the experience'. Some things are best left well alone - 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' as the saying goes 🙄
ReplyDeleteWell I’ve just checked my spam comments and had two from blogging friends in there. I don’t normally even look in there, so thanks for the heads up. Two lovely cards Liz, I hope the pink one eventually turns up.
ReplyDeleteTwo stunning cards Liz. I've had the same thing happen to me with blog comments, there dosent seem to be any reason for it.
ReplyDeleteSue xx
Both cards are so pretty and it frustrates me that so many cards I send out never arrive at their destinations! Oh well, this is the world we live in these days. As for blogger, I wonder who's at the controls now.. There are so many aggravating changes taking place
ReplyDeleterecently that it's taking the fun out of blogging for me,
Two beautiful cards Liz and love both colour ways….I’m pleased to hear I'm not the only one having problems with blogger..a couple of blogs it won’t let me leave comments it’s such a pain…
ReplyDeleteAnne
In both colours these scenes look great! Love the stamps... Hugs, Gerrina
ReplyDeleteThese are both so pretty and the scene you created is wonderful. You hear of cards and letters being delivered years after they were sent so you never know, it may still get there! There always seems to be a glitch when blogger changes something.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful cards and love both colourways Liz, sorry the pretty pink one went missing and I know exactly what you mean about comments in Spam that where never there before x.
ReplyDeleteTwo gorgeous cards,love the stamps.xxx
ReplyDeleteBoth are stunning Liz, beautiful design and colouring. As for Spam, I find mail in there from regular commentators and companies, very rarely anything spam. I agree so annoying as I don't go into my spam folder that often.
ReplyDeleteLovely makes Liz. Blogger driving me crazy at the mo!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card. Thanks for joining We Love Stamping. Anesha
ReplyDeleteReally lovely cards Liz and what a smashing sentiment. I have noticed a different commenting format. Why oh why do they feel the need to change things!!
ReplyDeleteBoth versions are so beautiful with this pretty scene and I need to get this sentiment! Thanks so much for sharing with us at Allsorts challenge!

Two beautiful different colour cards using these pretty Lavinia stamps Liz, and I love the different stencils you have used in the background of each. x
ReplyDeleteLove both of these - what a shame one got lost. I've just checked my spam and yes there were 20 comments in there! I hadn't realised it was a drop down menu, just thought there was no spam. Thanks for taking part in my challenge week at Allsorts challenge. Lynn x
ReplyDeleteA stunning card. Lavinia cards are always so delightful and wonderful. It looks amazing with the pink background. .We greatly appreciate you joining in our challenge at Cardz 4 Galz. Caz. DT.
ReplyDeleteOh goodness Liz, I'm sorry some of your comments went to spam. Mine don't even come in, I have to go look in blogger for mine. I am also sorry your pink card never reached it's destination. I sure hope you don't have mail carriers like we do in the US, some of ours will just throw mail on the side of the road; in the woods, etc...and quit their job. Usually people who really don't want to work. Let's hope that the card shows up eventually! And speaking of cards, these are just so cute! I love the scene you created and I love both color choices. Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteIt’s the spam folder in Blogger mine go into. So frustrating!
