It's my turn to introduce the Allsorts Challenge this week and I've chosen the theme of 'Ribbon/Twine'. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has enough ribbon to last several lifetimes!
I die cut a Memory Box 'Delicate Orchid' in green card and the flowers in pink and purple, matching the colours in the ribbon. The patterned paper is from an old Docrafts paper pad. The sentiment is a stamp from the the Stampin' Up 'Humming Along' set, stamped with Versafine Clair 'Rain Forest'.
The prize this week is a Sizzix die set from Craft Stash.
Our November prizes will be announced on Friday 29th and there just might be a few surprise Christmas gifts for our lovely entrants so pop a note in your diary.

Indeed yes Liz, so it was nice to use a little for your theme. Your card has a lovely feminine feel to it with the colours and Orchid.

ReplyDeleteYour card for the Allsorts Challenge is beautiful! The Memory Box 'Delicate Orchid' die in green, with pink and purple flowers, matches the ribbon colors perfectly. This is gorgeous. Love the colours and what great use of the ribbon. I have just made a card that will fit this challenge. If I can get it photographed in time I will add it to the gallery. It has been so dark today, it was no good for photography! xx

I don't have ribbon as pretty as yours though!
Very pretty card!
The orchid is very pretty and tones in beautifully with the pink and purple in the ribbon Liz, and the paperswith the green and white dots behind the flowers and the softer green curlicues on the background...a great card. x

ReplyDeleteThe main panel with those cute little colorful flowers is a perfect match to that pretty ribbon. I wish I didn't have so much ribbon in my stash but I must admit I've accumulated way too much through the years of crafting. Thanks for the great challenge to prompt me to use some of it! Great card!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully created card with your pretty blooms!! Yes, I have enough ribbon that I had to downsize it finally, a hard job for this hoarder of all things crafty!
