Hallaganza

This time last week I was on my way back to our B & B after spending all day watching the most amazing demos at the Lavinia Stamps Hallaganza.  I finally found time this weekend to play with some of the stamps I bought.

I started by stamping a rectangle using a stamp from the Stampin' Up 'Bokeh Dots' and a Versafine Clair 'Bali Blue' ink pad.  I stamped Lavinia's Annie from the 'Annie and Edward' set and 'Snowy Fir Tree Small' using Versafine 'Nocturne' and a few Lavinia 'Snowflakes' using Versafine Clair 'Bali Blue'.  The sentiment is a stamp from the Lavinia 'Christmas Greetings' set.  I added a silver sequin star to the top of the tree and adde some sparkle to the tree with a white Wink of Stella brush pen . I used pastel crayons to ground Annie and the tree and add a glow around the candle.  I finished off my card by adding a clear Nuvo drop in the middle of each snowflake.

I am joining in the following challenge:

  2. Wonderful card Liz, you've done a great job with the different stamping techniques. The silhouettes of Annie and the tree are lovely... great idea to add the "glow" around her candle.

  3. What a pretty Winter scene Liz, this new release really is lovely, still a tad envious of your Sunday last week, I'm sure it was full of fun and inspiration, maybe nots so kind on the pocket. Dare I admit despite mine arriving ahead of the curve not see ink yet, hope to put that right today.

Many thanks for sharing with us at Stamping Sensations and We Love Stamping challenges.

  6. I thought you were making up a "Darnell word" with your title, Liz, but I see instead I should say, "Go you for attending such a fantastic Hallaganza!" This is such a sweet and beautiful Christmas card made with some of your new goodies!! I look forward to seeing more. Thank you for inspiring everyone to use their NBUS! Hugs, Darnell
