Brenda has chosen the theme of Winter Flowers/Fauna for this week's Allsorts Challenge. There is always the option of Anything Goes.
I had seen this Crafter's Companion 'Triple Stepper Card Die' used on a card some time ago, but couldn't justify spending the full cost to add one to my collection. When I called in one of Crafter's Companion stores recently it was for sale at under half price, so it fell into my basket! The patterned paper is from The Works. I made the poinsettias with dies from Spellbinders 'Layered Poinsettia Etched' set and added tiny yellow pearls in the middle of each one. The sentiment is a stamp from the Stampin' Up 'Greatest Part of Christmas' set, stamped with Versafine 'Satin Red'.
The prizes this week are two AALL and Create A5 stamp sets.

ReplyDeleteYou were lucky to get that elaborate die at a reduced price wouldn't fancy trying that without a die. The card is lovely in traditional colours, just right for the challenge

ReplyDeleteI felt like that about the Made To Surprise Side Panel Showstopper you used the other week. Glad I waited as got it reduced in the Black Friday sale. This is a beautiful shaped card with fab papers and those sweet little poinsettias.
