Sunflowers

Another busy week, four days supply teaching  in a Reception class of four and five year olds.  I've had a student teacher with me in the class and she happened to mention that it's her birthday tomorrow. As I'll be teaching the class for a couple more days, I've made a quick birthday card for her today.  The class is called Sunflower (my class, before I retired), so I had to get sunflowers on the card somewhere!
After embossing the blue card with a Couture Creations 'Tied Together' embossing folder, I punched out three 1 1/2" circles down the side.  The sunflowers were made with punches.

I would like to enter my card for the following challenges:

  9. Such cheery colors, and love the bright yellow of the sunnies against that lovely blue embossing. How sweet of you to make this little one her very own birthday card from the teacher. She will feel so special. Great snippet make too. TFS & Hugs

    1. This card was actually for a student teacher working with me, but before I retired from full time teaching, I used to make every child in my class a card for their birthday. x
