Two more Christmas cards to share today.
I used my Spellbinders 'Pop-Ups - Happy Days' die HERE for a birthday card. Before I packed it away, I used it again with red card for this Christmas card. The patterned paper is from an old Docraft paper pad I bought in a closing down sale several years ago. The embossing was done with a Crafter's Companion 'Snowflakes' embossing folder. I layered the Memory Box 'Twilight Snowflakes' die cuts onto red and white mats. The sentiment is a stamp is from the Stampin' Up 'Greatest Part of Christmas' set, stamped with Versafine 'Satin Red'.

A second Christmas card using the same Crafter's Companion 'Snowflakes' embossing folder. The snowflakes are all from the Memory Box 'Twilight Snowflakes' set of dies. I finished off my card with a piece of ribbon, before layering on a blue mat. A quick and easy CAS card this time.

the Docraft paper is beautiful as the front of this wonderful Christmas card, love the simplicity and colour of your second one
ReplyDeleteYou always make the best folds. Thanks for the link to the album. I ran scared. I can't remember if I told you that. Hah! [Bunny]
ReplyDeleteThe album was easier to make than it looks, but was quite time-consuming to make. xx
DeleteTwo brilliant creations Liz, haven't seen that pop up deign for ages. Super papers and EF. Great CAS card with lovely blues, EF and snowflakes.

Two lovely cards Liz. I am thinking that I need that die - it would be much easier than measuring and cutting for that style of card. I like the contrast of the white embossing on both cards with the brighter matting. The owl paper on the first card is so cute.
ReplyDeleteI used to measure and cut for this style of card, but it’s so much quicker with the die. xx
DeleteI love the little owls Liz, what great paper! Fabulous die too, it makes a wonderful step card. The snowflakes you added to each "step" look beautiful, the stitching is a nice touch. Great embossing too!
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Beccy
