Snippets, scraps or offcuts?

Snippets, scraps or offcuts, whatever you call them, I'm sure that I'm not the only one who has a mountain of them in every possible colour. So, today I'm sharing three cards using some of my snippets.  The first two I've CASE'd after watching a couple Nifty Noodles Crafting videos.

The patterned paper was snippets from a 12 x 12 paper pad from The Range.   With such large sheets, there are always snippets left over when I cut into a new one, so expect to see more cards using these papers.  The petals are just squares with two opposite corners corner-rounded.  The sentiment is a SU stamp.  Three die cut flowers centres, three tiny white pearls and three sequins finished off my card.

I have quite a few old black and white paper pads and these snippets were from a few different pads, I think.  I put my own twist on this one as I messed up the herringbone pattern.  I put a strip of ribbon across the card.  The SU punched oval shapes were raised up on foam pads and the sentiment is a SU stamp. When I'd finished, the pattern didn't look quite right, so I added the three tiny red pearls in a diagonal line to balance up the card.   I added an extra three little red pearls along the bottom.

I am joining in the following challenges with this card:

My last card uses just a snippet of green card for the Lisa Horton's 'Slimline Inverted Scalloped Frame' die cut.   The image is the front of a shop bought birthday card I received last year.  I trimmed the image to a little smaller than the frame and attached the frame over the top, before attaching it to the card blank.  I stamped a sentiment, layered it on a snippet of green card and raised it up on foam pads.

  18. Yep, plenty of snippets, scraps, off cuts...etc...here too. Hard to throw them away! I love all your cards Liz, the first one I had tried once myself and loved how it came out after seeing it done on Pinterest. Really love yours and the papers you used. Your black/white/red card is so pretty and I don't see anywhere where you messed up the herringbone, but if you did, you sure pulled it out as I love this one! Love the pops of red. Love the slimline card too, you did well on all these with using your snippets! Hugs, Brenda
