Another Christmas card made today.... well four actually, as I made four identical cards to add to my pile for this Christmas. For a change, I decided to use non-traditional colours for these card.
I used a snippet of silver mirror card for the bauble die cut. The lilac card was a snippet too. Three Card Candi and a layered sentiment finished off my card.

My second card is an Anniversary card I made for friends of ours. I saw the idea for folding over the top corner for added interest on the Nifty Noodles Crafting Facebook page.
The papers are from an old Docrafts paper pad. I embossed the smaller heart with an Xcut 'Small Polka Hearts 'embossing folder'.
Inside I kept the hearts theme by die cutting two stitched hearts to make a panel for the message. Three pink pearls finished off my card.
I am joining in the following challenges with this card.
I love non-traditional colours on Christmas cards Liz, it's always an unexpected pleasure. The purple and white is a beautiful combination too. Love the silver die cut... I just saw this beauty on another card. It has lots of wonderful detail.

The die cut bauble image works beautifully on the first and the purple tones are very pretty Liz, and the second with the three different pretty papers and the hearts inside and out makes a delightful anniversary card...I like the way you have folded the top corner back with the embossed layered heart over the edge as though it is holding it in place. x

Two gorgeous cards Liz! I love your bauble card, purple is an important color to Christmas to me. Didn't one of the Wise Men wear purple....or am I dreaming?! It's a rich color, thus maybe why I think that. That is such a cool bauble die. Your is just beautiful in the pink and white color combo. Great papers too. I do love the folded down corner, it does indeed give interest to a card! Hugs, Brenda
