Crafty Calendar Challenge

The Crafty Calendar Challenge begins today with the easy theme of 'Anything Goes'.  Our generous sponsor this month is Mirtillamente.

Our sponsor kindly gave the DT digi images to work with and I chose to use 'Froggy'.  I coloured the cute image with Promarkers and used Lisa Horton's 'Scalloped Layered Rectangle' dies for matting and layering.  I used an old Cart-Us Lacé die for the decorative panel on the right and added a few tiny green pearls to mirror the leaf in the image.

The Crafty Calendar Challenge ends on 28th November, so plenty of time to join in.  The DT have made some beautiful cards for inspiration, so please pop over to the challenge blog to have a look.

    1. Using the Lacé templates and a craft knife was what really got me into cardmaking many years ago. I saw a demonstration using them at a craft fair, bought a couple and the rest rest is history. 😉 I still have my templates, but always use dies now. It was so frustrating if I messed up the cutting just before I’d finished. xx
