Allsorts Challenge ~ January Blues

It's Sarah's turn to choose the theme for the Allsorts Challenge this week and she has chosen 'January Blues'.  It's never too early to start making Christmas card, so this is one ready for next Christmas.  How will you interpret 'January Blues'?  We'd love to see the challenge flooded with blue creations, but as always there is the Anything Goes option.

The card base was made with a Spellbinders 'Happy Days' die.  I really like this fold and I've used this die several times lately.  The papers are from The Works and I die cut a few Memory Box 'Twilight Snowflakes' to put on the steps.  Three holographic Card Candi finished off my card.

  1. I like this style of card which must be so much easier to achieve with a die. A great Christmas one for the challenge of Blue January

    1. I used to make this style of card by hand with just a craft knife. Finding a die to do the work was a real game changer. xx

  3. I love this fold. It has been a few years since i made one but they are great for any cards that have 4 words or numbers or anything that needs highlighted in a set of 4 for a card. Super job with this fold.

    1. It folds flat easily for posting. I made mine with a die, but I used to make them with a craft knife. I’ve found a video here which shows you how to make them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=38GUqYu2TFY
