It's my turn to choose the theme for the Allsorts Challenge this week and I've chosen 'Sympathy or Get Well'. I always like to keep a few of these in my box of ready-made cards. As always there is always the option of 'Anything Goes'.

I used a Memory Box 'Open Studio Distressed Windham Collage' die in the corner of a white piece of card and backed it with pink card, before layering it on a green mat. The butterfly was made with Memory Box 'Pippi' and 'Isabella' die cuts. I added a flight path with a fineliner pen. The Stampin' Up 'Painted Glass' sentiment stamp was stamped with Versafine Clair 'Morning Mist'.
Prizes this week are Woodware stamps and Highlight A5 stencils.

As you say it is a good idea to keep this type of card handy. This one has a gentle comforting feel about it

ReplyDeleteI love the Windham Collage corner die showing the pink through it, and such a pretty butterfly too Liz with the pink underneath and a green top layer, as well as the green for the matted layer, really lovely colours, just perfect for a sympathy card. x
