Heart's Quest Celebration of Love Challenge

I was delighted to be invited to be a Guest Designer for Heart's Quest of Celebrations of Love Challenge #9 which begins today. I've made a Flying Seagull Card for friends celebrating 50 years of wedded bliss.

I've made several Golden Wedding Anniversary cards this year already and as my hubby and I will be celebrating ours on 14th September I need to get on with making one for him!  I used a Memory Box 'Heart of Hearts' die on the panel in the centre.  The other panels were embossed with an Xcut 'Small Polka Hearts' embossing folder. I used a few of the golden 'waste' hearts to embellish the white panels.  The gold card I used is pearlised and came from one sheet, although in the photo it looks different shades.  The sentiment is computer generated.

The card folds flat for posting.

  5. This is a fabulous Golden Wedding card and a wonderful shape too Liz. The pearlised gold card is so pretty and the cut into the card heart makes a terrific centrepiece, great heart embossing two, and a super idea to use some of the little cut out hearts to embellish it and love the added computer generated sentiment..a brilliant card and congratulations on being a GD over at this Celebrations of Love Challenge. x
