Special request

When I was trying to get find my crafting mojo, I saw a request on a local Facebook page today from a mother who's daughter, Erin is celebrating her 5th birthday on Saturday.  The daughter has a cough and so the whole family is self-isolating and the planned birthday party with her friends is cancelled.  The mother asked if one or two people could send a card to help make the birthday a special day, as her daughter didn't really understand why everything is cancelled.  So, that was enough to get my mojo back again and with only about 40 minutes before the last post collection, this is what I came up with.  I've never met Erin or her mother, but having taught four and five year olds for many years, I know that turning five is a big deal!  I hope Erin likes the pack of cute stickers I popped inside the card too.

The image is a Sweet Dixie die, 'Fantasy Castle' cut using silver mirror card and raised up in foam pads.  I used the same mirror card for matting the sentiment and die cutting the number 5 with a die from The Works.  The pink card is recycled from an old file divider and embossed with a Couture Creations 'Fireflies' embossing folder.

I am joining in the following challenges:
