After a week in our caravan in sunny Devon, we've been home since Monday and I've just realised that I haven't blogged since last weekend. I've had a lot of cards to make this week, but there has been no time to add them to my blog. On the plus side, I had a hair appointment on Tuesday..... and I'm having my second vaccination next week! It's the little things at the moment that seem so important. Back to my card, which I made recently for a card swap.
I used Sizzix 'Triple Circle Flip-its' dies for the card base, scalloped border and circles. The flowers were made with Sue Wilson's 'Petite Forget Me Nots' dies, with tiny white pearls in the middle. I added a strip of ribbon down the side, the colours matching perfectly with the colours in the patterned paper.
The card swings open to stand up.
On the back of the circles I added the sentiment.
I am joining in the following challenges:
The the three prettily docorated circles on the flip it mechanism Liz and the background paper goes beautifully with the sweet little forget-me-not flowers, and love the added words on the back of each circle. A fantastic card. x
ReplyDeleteClever card and the ditsy floral paper is so pretty

ReplyDeleteI totally agree about those little things Liz, I have my second at 8am, not fussed about hair (waist length so not much needed) would like to get back to having regular nail appointment but totally booked so I ordered some new varnish from Amazon....little things.
ReplyDeleteLove the pretty colour palette here and the design is very effective. Many thanks for sharing and joining us at Allsorts challenge.
