Flip-It Card

After a week in our caravan in sunny Devon, we've been home since Monday and I've just realised that I haven't blogged since last weekend.   I've had a lot of cards to make this week,  but there has been no time to add them to my blog.  On the plus side, I had a hair appointment on Tuesday..... and I'm having my second vaccination next week! It's the little things at the moment that seem so important.  Back to my card, which I made recently for a card swap.

I used  Sizzix 'Triple Circle Flip-its' dies for the card base, scalloped border and circles.  The flowers were made with Sue Wilson's 'Petite Forget Me Nots' dies, with tiny white pearls in the middle.  I added a strip of ribbon down the side, the colours matching perfectly with the colours in the patterned paper.

The card swings open to stand up.

On the back of the circles I added the sentiment.

I am joining in the following challenges:

  1. The the three prettily docorated circles on the flip it mechanism Liz and the background paper goes beautifully with the sweet little forget-me-not flowers, and love the added words on the back of each circle. A fantastic card. x
