Sharing a birthday card I made a little while ago and forgot to post on my blog.
I die cut the Memory Box poppies using snippets of white card and coloured them with Promarkers. I used a Creative Expressions e/f to emboss the background. The patterned papers were snippets from an old paper pad. I used a sentiment stamp from the SU 'Painted Glass' set and raised the layered sentiment up on foam pads.
The card folds flat for posting.
I am joining in the following challenges:
A few more cards in my draft file which I haven't blogged before.

ReplyDeleteAn interesting selection of cards - the poppy one is a great idea for using up snippets
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards and I just love the gorgeous image with those colours, have a nice weekend ♥
ReplyDeleteLovely collection of your cards Liz. Particularly like the folding one you've entered into the Snippets Playground. Much easier to mat and layer this shape than an angled one and definitely food for thought! Love this.
ReplyDeleteStill hot and sunny here . . . I've already put out a pitcher of orange juice on the Playground picnic tables . . . but later this afternoon, it'll have some "better" ingredients added! LOL! xxx
Love the poppy card Liz, fabulous fold and beautifully designed, the MB poppy die is so elegant, must use mine again! A lovely selection of thank you cards too- always useful to have!

ReplyDeleteSome wonderful cards Liz and especially the first four panel card so elegant in red, black and white and love the black and white papers and the super red die cut poppies over that pretty dry embossed background on the inside of two of the panels, also the same paper design with white on black and then the reverse..such a great idea. x
