A Magical Day

Another Joy Fold card today, using freebie stamps and freebie patterned paper.
The fairy and sentiment stamps and patterned paper all came as part of the free gift with this month's Quick Cards Made Easy magazine.  The silhouette fairy, stamped with Versafine 'Onyx Black', was holding a star, so I added a punched silver glitter star over the top to add a bit of sparkle.  I used a Creative Expressions 'Sparkle Squares' embossing folder for the background. A flower brad keeps the card closed.

A lovely card using freebies - I managed to resist that magazine in the week - how good is that (for me anyway!!) picked it up then put it back.

Wow, I'm not a purple person but I love everything about this card. The folds, the pattern paper, the button brad closure and the fairy. Great touch to add the glittered star.

Hi Liz,
what a super lovely and wonderful card, and to think some of the items used were freebies amazing.
Love that fairy stamp and the paper used.
Brilliant embossing also,
Still haven't made one of those, but I must have go soon.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Hi Sue, a really lovely card, great image and love the papers and this is one of my favorite style of cards, although I forget to use it.
Now I have just been onto the Allsorts challenge blog and it is showing that there have been no entries as yet.
If you have linked the card to the challenge could you please let me know so that I can get it looked into as we have had problems before about it not showing entries.
Or maybe you have forgotten to do the link.
Thanks for entering the challenge anyway.

Hi Kath, I haven't got an email address for you and I don't know if the comments on your blog are moderated or not, so I've sent a quick email to Brenda. My card is linked, but the thumbnails aren't showing.

PS I'm Liz, not Sue. 😉 xx
