I spent a lovely afternoon yesterday with a six other crafty friends, enjoying an afternoon tea to celebrate the birthday of one of our group. This is the card I made for the birthday girl. She is mainly a CAS crafter, so I didn't want to make her card too fussy.
The background die is a Poppystamps 'Atessa Collage' die cut, which reveals the silver, pearlised mat through the apertures. The flowers are Memory Box 'Chloe Stem' and the sentiment is raised up on foam pads.

Here are a couple of photos taken yesterday.
I think 'Afternoon Tea' is mainly an English thing. It involves sandwiches, cakes, scones with clotted cream and jam and other delicious, sweet delights, all washed down with lots of cups of tea.
