It's been a pretty busy week craftwise. I made 36 cards to give to my friend's future daughter-in-law who's raising funds for St Peter's Hospice, but forgot to post any photos of the cards on my blog before I handed them over! I've also been making lots of cards for my craft stall at a Vintage and Handmade fair coming up in a few weeks. As it's before Mothering Sunday, I thought I'd also make some chocolate-filled pillow boxes to sell on my stall. I embossed the boxes with a Swiss Dot Cuttlebug embossing folder.

Beautiful Fairy
The Lavinia Stamps challenge for this month is ‘Blue or Lilac or Both!', so I decided to go with the lilac. I used my Cheery Lynn French Lattice die to cut the lilac lattice for the background. I originally stamped the image in black, but it looked too stark, so I tried stamping using a Versafine Imperial Purple ink pad and the result was much softer. I added some sparkle to the wings and bubbles using a clear Wink of Stella glitter brush.
I would like to enter my card for the following challenges:
Lavinia Stamps ~ ‘Blue or Lilac or Both!
Stamping Sensations ~ Wings, Fantasy and Fiction
Lexi's Creations ~ Monochromatic

Valentine's Card
Valentine's Day is fast approaching, so with only a few days to go, I thought I'd better get a move on and make Alan a Valentine's card. I had the Spellbinders 'Lace Hearts' dies for Christmas, so I thought this was a perfect opportunity to use them.
