I'm not sure where the last couple of weeks have gone, but it's two weeks since I last blogged. I've had so many cards to make lately - most of my friends and family seem to have birthdays in the last few months of the year! I will be sharing photos of them on my blog over the next couple of weeks.
Thank you to everyone who has enquired about my daughter Joanna following her emergency operation at the end of July. Her recovery is going well and she began driving again this week. She hopes to return to her work as a physiotherapist in a week or two. My ten year old great nephew, who Joanna has been recuperating with, is still making face masks (see HERE) in aid of the Devon Blood Bikes. I hadn't realised at the time that it was my great nephew who was doing almost all of the sewing on his Mum's sewing machine. He smashed his target of £100 and has raised in excess of £400 so far.
The October Rudolph Days Challenge begins today and runs until the end of the month. It's a challenge I like to enter if I can and here is my card for this month.
For the background I used Creative Expressions 'Snowflake Lattice' embossing folder. The small snowflakes are punched. I die cut the large snowflake with white non-shed glitter card. (I seem to have mislaid the die, so I'm not sure of the brand - if anyone recognises it please let me know. I might be able to locate it then! 😉) The sentiment is a Stampin' Up stamp, stamped in gold and the circle is raised up on foam pads. All the white and red card I used was snippets, apart from the card blank, so I'll be sharing my card over in the Playground.
I am joining in the following challenges:
