A quick CAS card today.
I bought this preloved Poppystamps 'Floribunda Collage' die a few months ago. I tested it on a snippet of of white card to see what it looked like..... and the die cut has just sat on on my craft table. I needed to make a quick birthday card and I spotted this die cut waiting to be used. I cut it into rectangle to fit a 6" x 6" square card blank. The purple mat was a snippet too. I stamped a sentiment with a stamp from the Stampin' Up 'Best Year' using Versafine Clair 'Monarch'. A few clear gems were added in the centre of the flowers and the card was finished.
I am joining in the following challenges:

A very pretty floral die cut card Liz. Love it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming to play in the Snippets Playground. See you up in the treehouse shortly. xxx
Very pretty - and a great way to use up your snippets!! I've been working with snippets, too. :-)
ReplyDeleteA pretty diecut and card
ReplyDeleteThese flowers look really pretty cut into the card and they really pop with the purple card behind as a matted layer Liz, and finished with some little clear gems and a lovely sentiment. x
ReplyDeleteIt is a perfect CaS card! Hugs, Gerrina
ReplyDeleteThe new dies gives such an effective finish with the contrast of colours. Pleased to read you also invested in the Spin tool, I'm still captivated with it and simplicity of use.

ReplyDeleteWell, that was a great purchase! Beautiful CAS card!
ReplyDeleteClean and crisp and just a lovely birthday card.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely example of how snippets can come together so beautifully. The Floribunda Collage die adds such graceful movement, and the purple matting makes the whole design sing. I especially love the clear gems in the flower centers—they catch the light in a way that feels celebratory and gentle. A perfect blend of simplicity and elegance.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Liz, love the colours and design x
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely card Liz - elegant and also a lovely colour choice!
