A card for my granddaughter who celebrated her 16th birthday recently.
I made the card base with a Crafter's Companion 'Triple-Stepper' set of dies. The patterned paper is from The Works. I used two of my favourite butterfly dies, Memory Box 'Pippi Butterfly' and 'Isabella Butterfly'.

We returned home yesterday from a few days in our caravan in North Devon. We were lucky enough be in an area with no light pollution when the Northern Lights appeared on Monday. Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera with me and this is the best I could get using my mobile phone.

Beautiful fresh colours in your papers and a fabulous layout. A wonderful pic of the Northern lights

Such a lovely celebration of a milestone birthday, and the triple‑stepper design shows off those patterned papers beautifully. The layered butterflies add such a graceful touch, and the soft colors feel perfect for a sixteen‑year‑old. The Northern Lights photo is incredible as well, especially knowing it was captured on a mobile phone.
ReplyDeleteAnother one with beautiful combinedpaper! Enjoy the weekend!
ReplyDeleteThis is so very pretty and a lovely colour combo. You always inspire me to make folded cards and use my papers they are so beautifully made. You did so well to see the lights and to get this on your phone, as I understand it usually your phone doesn't have the tech to pick up the colours.
ReplyDeleteI was surprised to get the colours of the Northern Lights on my phone. I didn’t have an anything to put my phone on, so had to hold it as still as possible. x
