Allsorts Challenge ~ Seaside

A new Allsorts Challenge begins today and Christine has chosen the theme of 'Seaside'.  As always there is also the option of Anything Goes.
 
I used a Marianne Design cross stitch die and cut it into a circle using a Memory Box 'Stitched Circles Layers' die.  I used a free Marianne Designs cross stitch pattern HERE and used crochet cotton for the stitching.  The patterned paper is from a Crafter's Companion 'Nautical Collection' paper pad.  I attached the stitched image with foam pads to add some dimension.  The sentiment was punched with a Stampin' Up punch and layered on a rectangular mat.

There are two prizes each of two Sentimentally Yours stamps from  Grafton Crafts , a well stocked bricks and mortar and online shop offering free p&p on all orders over £15.

  11. I love the oyster/scallop shell cross stitch in the die cut circle Liz, and the papers with the seashells and other nautical images, and the woodgrain below with the lovely rope border and stamped sentiment complement it perfectly...a beautiful summery card. x
