CAS Retirement Card

I made this CAS card for a good friend who retired recently from working as a Teaching Assistant for over 20 years.  We worked together for many years when I was a teacher in Sunflower Class.  I thought it was appropriate to include sunflowers on her card.

I used a new Craft Addictions 'Slatted Hexagons' die with white card and backed it with green, the same card as the mat.  The flowers were made with punches and snippets of yellow, brown and green, so I'll be sharing my card over in The Playground.

I am joining in the following challenges:

  24. This card radiates warmth and thoughtfulness, Liz. The sunflowers are such a meaningful touch—what a beautiful way to honor your shared history in Sunflower Class. I love how the slatted hexagon adds subtle structure without overpowering the blooms, and the fresh green matting brings everything together so harmoniously. A perfect blend of personal sentiment and clean design.
