It's the 1st September tomorrow and I need to make 14 cards for birthdays and anniversaries this month! I think September is the busiest month for sending cards for me..... apart from Christmas. I've already made six cards, so thought I'd better crack on with the rest. I saw that the Diva Cut Divas Challenge ends in a few hours, with the theme of 'Make a Z Fold Card', so that was the inspiration for my masculine card.
The patterned paper was from an old Dovecraft paper pad. I used an unbranded Happy Birthday die I bought from eBay quite a few years ago and layered it on a red mat, die cut with a Memory Box 'Stitched Circle Layers' die. I used a punch for the small stars.
To finish off my card I added a plain panel for the message.
I am joining in the following challenge:
This is such a great fold and love the colors you used, so happy you played our Masculine Challenge at Krafty Chicks Challenge this week. Have a great day. Leanne DT Member/KCC

ReplyDeleteOctober is my busy month for birthdays so I know how it feels when everything seems to come at once. Having seen so many lovely z fold cards and never made one myself, it must be time for me to change that. This one is such a fine example. I love the red white and grey. Thanks for your recent visit to me. It made me realise that it has been a while since I returned the favour xx

This Z fold design is such a clever way to showcase that bold red sentiment—it really pops against the layered papers and gives the whole card a crisp, confident feel. I love how you balanced the masculine theme with playful details like the punched stars. It’s inspiring to see how you’re tackling your busy September with so much creativity and energy!
ReplyDeleteYou are so great at funfold cards Liz. This one has a lovely crisp clean look in great colours.
