Lynn has chosen the theme of 'Create a Scene' for the last Allsorts Challenge of 2025. As always, you can use the Anything Goes option as we love to see all your creations. This challenge will end on Wednesday 31st December.
The white base card was made using dies from the Sue Wilson 'Double Pierced Circes' set. I used a Lavinia Celtic Dream die, 'Alura', which is sadly discontinued. However, it is currently available as a cutting file, Alora. I made the background using an Adirondack 'Denim' ink pad, masking off the moon with a circle of card. The navy blue die cut was layered over the top and attached to a pale yellow mat. I added punched flowers and butterfly. For the base I used the same ink pad with a Lavinia 'Feather Leaf' stencil. The sentiment is a stamp from the Stamp' Up 'Humming Along' set, stamped with SU 'Night of Navy’.
There are two Lavinia prizes for the Allsorts Challenge, one a collection of mini/small stamps with bottle sticker for scene making and three stamps as second prize.
I am joining in the following challenges:

Love this card using a die which I didn't know even existed😉. It's worked very we'' on this easel card with the scene behind it.

The scene you created has such a striking sense of depth, with the masked moonlight glowing beautifully behind the intricate die cut. The combination of the denim inked sky, the layered navy frame, and the soft yellow mat gives the whole piece a calm, dreamlike quality. The added flowers and butterfly bring just the right touch of movement, and the stenciled base ties everything together with a gentle flow. A wonderfully balanced and imaginative take on the theme.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful easel card, the die cut scene with the moonlit background and delicate flowers and butterflies is enchanting.

ReplyDeleteI didn't know Lavinia ever did dies... this one is so effective in the scene you created. A wonderful card, Liz. x
ReplyDeleteThe Lavinia dies were produced over ten years ago, but only seemed to be around for a short time to buy. It’s good to see that they are now available as a cutting file as they are lovely designs. x

A great easel card with that circular shape Liz and the Alura die cut fairy and background scene works beautifully with the added pink flowers and butterfly and the ink blended blue background with the masked moon.
