A masculine card today for my nephew. It's been a while since I made a Fractured Card, so I decided it was about time I made another.
Everything on this card was made with snippets, except for the card blank, so I'll be sharing my card in The Playground and Little Red Wagon challenges. The patterned paper is from Anna Marie Designs. I used a stamp from the Stampin' Up 'Many Mates' set, stamped with Versafine Clair 'Nocturne' and coloured with an ultrafine red Sharpie.
I am joining in the following challenges:

Great card, Liz! I find masculine cards difficult to make. I like this one!
ReplyDeleteGreat choice of papers for this masculine card - very reminiscent of Bridget Riley's op art work
ReplyDeleteVery stylish masculine card Liz. I’ve never made a fractured card, must try it! Xx
ReplyDeleteSo striking in red and black and the snipped of different designs look really good combined.

ReplyDeleteLovely fractured card made with your snippets.
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming to play in the Snippets Playground. See you up in the treehouse for a mug of hot chocolate shortly. xxx
A lovely design Liz, I've never tried one of these but think I'm about to!!
ReplyDeleteAlways a great design. I'm sure it was greatly appreciated.
ReplyDeleteThe black with white papers are perfect for this fractured card design and the red really pops Liz, and the red coloured sentiment finishes it perfectly...a great card for your nephew. x
ReplyDeleteLove the papers, color combo, design! Wonderful card!
ReplyDeleteGreat use of the technique for a masculine card and it looks fab in b/w with the touch of red.
ReplyDeleteA striking fractured design with such bold movement in the patterned snippets. The black and white mix gives the layout a strong masculine feel, and the touch of red adds just the right amount of contrast. The sentiment treatment ties everything together beautifully, and using all snippets makes the whole piece even more impressive.
ReplyDeleteVery cool card! An awesome way to use up those scraps. Thanks for joining us at Little Red Wagon.
ReplyDeleteSpectacular card! Love the bright red contrast on the black and white pattern paper. Could be gender neutral but since it’s MASCULINE week, this one’s for the boys. Thank you for playing with the Krafty Chicks Challenge.
