The February Rudolph Days Challenge begins today and I was delighted to be invited to be a Guest Designer. I haven't made a bridge card for a long time, so I decided to make this fold for this Christmas card.
The patterned papers were a recent purchase from The Range. The were in the sale at £2 for a 12 x 12 paper pad, so I couldn't just leave them on the shelf! The sentiment was from Stampin' Up 'Perfect Plaid' set, stamped with Versafine 'Crimson Red'.
I made a second card while I had the papers out, moving the horizontal panel to the bottom.
The sentiment is a stamp from the same set I used on the first card, using Versafine Clair 'Rain Forest'.

That DP was a real bargain and it's lovely, a very special make for your GD spot, hopefully get to join in, a short month this time.

ReplyDeleteWow, what a bargain!! Such a lovely card x
ReplyDeleteVery pretty papers Liz and perfect colours for Christmas and the two different versions of this bridge card both work brilliantly, and two lovely sentiments. Congratulations on your Guest Designer spot over at Rudolph Days.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your Gd spot! Two super cards and what a bargain that paper was!
ReplyDeleteYour bridge card design looks so polished and inviting, and the sale papers were such a great find. The way you adapted the fold for two layouts gives each version its own personality while keeping the overall look cohesive. The sentiments and ink choices fit the festive palette beautifully, and the balance you achieved across the panels makes the fold shine without feeling crowded.
ReplyDeleteGreat card - love the fold you've used.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for joining me as a Guest Designer this month at the Rudolph Days Challenge.
