The June Crafty Calendar Challenge begins today with the theme 'All About the Men/Boys'. It's been a few years since I last made a 'Lego' card, so this was the starting point for my masculine card.
The sentiment is a Sue Wilson 'Happy Birthday' die. I made the Lego bricks with 1" squares and 1" x 2" rectangles. I used a punch for the circles and attached them with foam pads to raise them up.
The Crafty Calendar Challenge ends on 28th June. Hop over to the challenge blog to see the beautiful cards the DT have made for inspiration.
I am joining in the following challenges:

A wonderful colourful masculine card
ReplyDeleteThis is brilliant Liz, I’ve never seen a Lego card before, it looks absolutely real! Amazing! Xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliant idea this one is - Lego is always popular and of course it's colourful as well. Love it

Oh such a clever choice! Lego is so iconic. Thanks for playing at AAA Birthday, hope to see you join in with future challenges too. Stay safe and keep crafting!
ReplyDeleteYour Lego design is so bold and fun, and the way you built the bricks with the raised circles gives the whole card such great dimension; the bright colors pop beautifully against the clean layout, and the die cut sentiment finishes everything with a crisp, polished touch
ReplyDeleteI love a lego card, always so bright and cheerful.
