Well, I found the stamp I was looking for yesterday. I finished the card I was making, took a photo.....and knew something wasn't quite right. Then I suddenly realised that that raindrops were upside down! Grrr! So I started again and made another card from scratch. I'll keep the original card, as I'm sure I can attach something inside the black frame to cover up my mistake.
The stamped image and sentiment are by Inkylicious. The die I used for the raindrops is called ' A Little Rain' by Memory Box. The embossing folder is 'Water Ripple' by Sheena Douglass. Three little blue gems finished off my card.
I would like to enter my card for the following challenges:
Very pretty card, such a delicate stamped image, Liz! The embossed texture in the background is such a nice touch! Thanks for playing along with us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!
ReplyDeleteLiz, this is so pretty! I love that image you used. Upside down raindrops sound like something I'd do too! LOL! These are perfect though. Love your card.

very nice your card Liz!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty looking card Liz. I don't like rain but on a card it looks nice..LOL.

A super card, I like the watery embossed background and the cut out rain drops. Nice sentiment as well.

Such a sweet card, and I sure had a chuckle when I read about your upside down rain drops!
ReplyDeleteYou added some great texture with that pretty embossing and all those raindrops! I love that pretty image too! NJ!
ReplyDeleteLove that embossed background...looks quite like puddles of rainwater. Funny with your upside down rain. How many times have I done the same thing with something (or had a card front backwards!). This one's just adorable, love the colors and the fantastic rain falling. Congrats on your big win at the Playground too! TFS & Hugs
ReplyDeleteWell I just turned my Ipad upside down and your raindrops look equally as good either way up. Love that sentiment. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous, Liz! I love all the texture! Do you think we would have noticed? Me, one time I put a ribbon on upside down and actually posted it with pretty raspberries falling UP! It's so funny how we are too close to see sometimes (the forest and the trees thing), I guess! Enjoy your Sunday! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteLove the sentiment and the textures, it's a very pretty card Liz!
